Qingdao Chengkang Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd was founded on November 7, 2008 with a capital investment of one million RMB (RMB 1,000,000). The scope of the company operation includes but not limited to importing and exporting of technology, general merchandizing, custom brokerage, wholesale and retail distribution. Within the first half year of founding this company, we had solidified and executed many contract agreements. Overall contract amount had well exceeded 40 million RMB (RMB 40,000,000). Chengkang currently consists of 10 full-time employees. All of them have undergraduate (college BS or BA) degrees and have been assigned many positions such as custom brokerage, import and export, trading, manufacturing and port authorities. To handle oversea customers and ensure speedier business development, we have employees who have professional translation skills of at least English level 8 and Japanese level 1. Chengkang’s current customers consist of many major corporations such as Qingdao Laigang Steel Structure Co., Ltd.、Shimizu Corporation、S.L.C.-JAPAN CO.,LTD. Among these companies, the scope of business transactions includes steel-based structures, textile and fine crafts, to name a few. Chengkang’s 2009 annual sales figure is projected to reach 200 million RMB. And in 2010, the annual sales will be even higher based on current growth trend. Current goal for 2010 is to reach 400 million RMB. Despite the current pessimistic view of the global economy and the financial market turmoil, Chengkang has been able to maintain its course and still moving forward with positive growth.
